Introducing: Camp Unfold
calling all Unfold poets: 3 years later, it's time to gather in person
Something you might not know about me: Before I started writing and teaching full time, I spent 5+ years each working in higher ed and nonprofits.
During that time, I facilitated a ton of retreats. Need someone with weirdly specific knowledge about curriculum planning, reflection, and room assignments? I’m your girl. I love thinking about how to make a space inviting and open, the questions we can examine together, the places we can go when we need a break.
I’m so excited to combine that experience with my current work to bring you Camp Unfold!
Open only to Unfold alumni, Camp Unfold is a three night poet gathering in Pullman, Washington. We’ll write, hang out in nature, and finally spend some time together IRL! We’ll explore questions like:
- How do we let ourselves be known as writers?
- How do we write ourselves into our poems?
- How do we see ourselves and exist within our community?
- How do we grow into our identities and personhood as writers?
Join us September 27-30 for our inaugural Camp Unfold. All the info you need is at bit.ly/campunfold
